Ordinary objects slide apart “smartly” as intended, but The Union Selection makes a Dissolve transition (even though Smart Animation is set up for it).

Please make sure on your layer naming first to see if it remains
frame 79 and frame 80 content must have same name for smart animate to behave as the Smart Animate
