Pages out of order when playing prototype?

Newbie here. I am taking a course and using the software for the first time.

The 8 pages within my wireframe are in the correct order, and when I change to prototype mode to add connectors they are in the correct order…but when I switch to play mode, a few screens are out of order. I can’t figure out how to fix this. Any suggestions?

Ps — I am not very tech or design savvy (reason why I’m taking a course) so baby step it for me please!

Make sure the frames in your document are running in the correct order from left to right. Figma bases its frame/screen order depending on the placement on the canvas
