Can't change email address


I would like to change my e-mail address for my account. I have followed the following tutorial several times now:

I have done everything exactly as in the tutorial and I have received a mail to my new email address. But even after clicking on the confirmation link and logging in it still shows my old email address in the settings. Nothing has changed.

Any ideas what I can do? I appreciate every tip/hint/help

Are you receiving any errors when you try to change the email address? It may be worth trying to log out of Figma and then back in as well to see if that helps.

Hi @Gayani_S thanks for your message. I am not recieving any errors. When I follow the steps everything looks like its working fine, no problems. But in the end the e-mail address remains the same and is not updated.

I tried loggin in and out and in again a million times now. Doesn’t help unfortuantley.

I understand that we can’t discuss this detail here publically so thanks for creating the ticket.

However, I have already contacted the support via ticket and I did get a message from themasking me for further information. I replied to their message but then never heard back from then and then I got an email that my ticket got closed because I didn’t reply, which I did though. I tried contacting the support several times now always with the same result: my ticket gets created but it seems like my messages are not getting through and then my tickets are being closed. In my googlemail account I just click on “reply” and then “send”. Is there another way I should reply?

Our support team usually takes up to 24 hours to reply back to emails - tends to be quicker than that in normal circumstances. However, please be aware that we are facing increased contact volume so there might be a delay.
