We often design dashboards but want to know what would be the best size to start the design some people recommended 1440 while others says that you cant go wrong with 1366 - what size do you use for the first layouts and why ?

The default size on most Business Intelligence tools is width -1280px and Height - 720px. If you are designing to embed in a website width could be increased to 1366px or 1440px.
