Hey!
I’ve created an instance of a component from a library, and this icon appeared in the instance created. It behaves like a normal instance, but I’m curious because I’ve never seen it before. What does it mean?
Thanks in advance!

Here to ask the same question 🙂
We’re investigating this now. Will report back once I have more info. 🙂
Hey there we just pushed a fix for this. If you refresh/restart your browser you should see an option in the Quick Actions menu (command + / ) to “Restore auto layout position”. Just select any/all layers where you saw this icon and then run this command to restore them.
Feel free to reach back out if you have any other issues here. Thanks!
Was it a bug, not a feature? I have already found a way to use it - you can work with Auto layout and set absolute positioning for selected objects.
In CSS it would look like this:
position: absolute;
right: -8px;
top: 8px;
Would love to see this in updates.
Also, without this feature, you need to create an additional frame and layer nesting (screen Joxi (81 kb) закачан 25 марта 2022 г. Joxi)
Oh please yes make it so… 🙏
Thank you very much for your reply!
@Josh is this a bug or a feature? Seems weird to suddenly remove autolayout without the designer knowing about it.
This was over a year ago before absolute positioning in autolayout had launched. We reverted this bug where it was improperly showing until we could launch it officially. 🙂
Going to close this thread out since it’s no longer relevant.
