If I set wdith based on the variables it doesn’t take the constraints into consideration. This is a problem since it forces me to add it manually

I think this because of the logic here. Basically every var has their own pair of value and name, so when you change the individual dimension to another var(256), the other will stay with the var you set (128).

In this case, if you want to change both the dimensions to the same value, head to the Variables panel, then edit it’s value to 256

It doesn’t matter. It should be able to respect the “link” property and use the same or at least prompt the user to the size they want.
