I already upgraded to professional but I still cant add new teams or new projects. I also still get the prompt to upgrade to professional. Please help.

They can have a deeper look into your permissions rights to fix the issue.
Reminder: plans are set at a team-level, not at account-level. Figma manages subscriptions for each team separately. It’s possible to have multiple teams that you pay for separately, or a combination of free and paid teams.
