Howdy, I have these two vectors, the red and white stripes are a square and I wanna substract the gray polygon, but when I do so (the way I know, by selecting the two and clicking substract) it loses color and turns it all red

Hi, I found the solution by making another vector with the shape I wanted and using it as a mask but thank you if you were to help! 🙂
