When working on big projects, there can be TONS of comments on a file, and some are lost because of that & I keep “pinging” team members on comments I made when I need their response.
Nowadays, I write "ping @name " on the relevant comment, but I thought it would be nice to add a “ping” button on the comment window, and the relevant team member (who is already tagged there) will get a notification about it.
What do you think?
I know this problem, but I think any new features here would be too much.
I usually copy the link to the comment and send it to Slack/Teams to the member who I want to ping. This can be done as many times as necessary.
Sorry, Figma comments need some much more high-priority improvements 😉
What you’re suggesting is not fast enough lol
I think there should be an “on-the-go” action
Maybe in the 3 dots dropdown of the relevant comment (where the edit is) add the ping action?
