Does anyone know how to quickly enter a long dash in text?
If there is no such function yet, maybe it would be convenient to notice the double hyphen on the dash automatically?

Probably depends on your system and keyboard layout.
On a QWERTZ keyboard and Mac the character “—” can be written by pressing
Shift + Option + -
