In the text layer, content Create Component Property dialog, add a checkbox/toggle field for: Link Content to Variant Name
To automatically update the Variant’s layer name to the content which is often the case. eg: pills for tags or labels etc. That would save lots of typing in the Components Variants Layers Panel.
