Fredo from ProtoPIe. I’d love to know the answer/solution to this as well. Some others have reported the same thing but it seems to be an issue on Figma’s end, I suppose.
Hi Homer, Thanks for flagging this! I think you’re most likely running into this issue because you belong to an Organization that has a plugin approve list which only allows members of that Organization to install and use plugins approved by Organization admins.
We recently learned about an issue where members of Organizations that use a plugin allow list are still allowed to install unapproved plugins. As expected the plugins still fail to execute, but the apparent ability to install them is quite confusing.
We’re working on building out a notification to make it clearer that this is why you are unable to access those plugins, and in the meantime we suggest reaching out to an Organization admin who can share with you which plugins are approved and expected to execute normally.
If you’re not part of an Organization but still seeing this issue, can you contact the Support Team using the ‘?’ at bottom right to ‘Get Help’ and make a bug report? Thanks for your help here.
Ah, interesting.
Then the bug would be the ability to run/use an unapproved plugin for a while before it disappears.
Thanks for the info, Katie!
Thanks Katie! I’m experiencing this as well 😕
I’m having the same issues with the Ditto plugin. Has this been solved?
@KatieLee I’m having the same problem! Except that all of my Plugins have disappeared. It’s causing me some big problems because I have a project deadline today. Would really appreciate some help!
I think I’m experiencing the same issue.
All of a sudden this afternoon, both the desktop and web app show that I have no plugins installed in my company account. My external account shows the same. I used to have many plugins.
I tried re-installing some plugins, and they show as installed on the community page, but my plugin list remains empty in the app. I tried restarting Figma and my computer. Any chance something changed with our accounts? Any way to check that?
I’m currently having this same issue, is there some sort of bug or outage?
Having same problem of not being able to see my installed plugins. I’m using windows 10. When I go to the community page to check if I need to reinstall the plugins, the button says “Installed”
All of my plugins are no longer visible in the plugins menu.
I’m dealing with this as we speak. I also noticed that they show as installed on the community page. There must be some sort of outage happening.
I’m using macOS Big Sur… seems like this might be a larger issue
Hey @cbeasley @Will_Rodenbough @KateGilbert @Josh_Kirkland @Osub_Lee – this was an issue we just resolved on our end. Please refresh your Figma tabs and try again.
You can visit status.figma.com or this thread for more information: Help! My plugins aren't loading!
Anyone can feel free to reply on the above mentioned thread if you continue to notice issues with your plugins after refreshing.
Thank you so much! It’s working again…
Wow this was so fast. Thank you for the fix!
@ksn Now commenting is broken…
@ksn Right now, figma can’t not load text styles when I try to change it.
Hello! I can’t see my installed plugins in the Menu, even though it appears as “Installed” in the Community (neither on web, nor on desktop app). What could be the issue? (Mac)
I had previously added plugins to my setup, however recently when I’ve tried to add them, they look to be added when I go to browse plugins in Community but when managing plugins in Figma they don’t show up. This still appears to be an ongoing bug as others in the organisations can still add plugins…
Isso aconteceu comigo também, alguem sabe como resolver?
I just experienced this last night and even until today. I was working on my project then suddenly the plugin cannot be found on the list and even on my saved list. The only way it appears when I TRY PLUGIN on the Figma community site. But after I close it it disappears. This happens for personal and team accounts, browser-based and app-based for mac and windows. So I guess this is a site-wide bug you need to fix asap. I have deadlines today. OMG!
Thanks in advanced Figma Team!
