This seems to be a recurring bug for me but my gradient slider bar keeps disappearing. I can adjust the colors but not the direction because the slider is not there. Anyone have a fix for this. I think it was about selecting another shape or something?? Has happened on and off again.

Make sure you have only one object selected. You can’t adjust the position of the gradient on multiple objects at once.
Don’t select a group, it still counts as multiple objects as the group object itself doesn’t have fill.
