In the past week, I’ve seen a decline in performance of the Figma Windows Desktop app.

A big page with prototyping can take 15-20 seconds to open with Figma Desktop, while litterally taking 2 seconds in the browser.


More specifically, when I select a page, I see the “loading” animation for 15-20 seconds, after which the page finally gets selected and displayed:

I’ve tried deleting the data under the AppData folder, I tried uninstalling/reinstalling, but nothing seems to help.


Anyone else experienced the same behavior? If so, under which conditions?
