Majority of the design activities are now performed in Figma and it is more common that each file has its own statuses and certain open items to complete when it is active. Why don’t we have a design tracker in the Figma app where designers can see all their files with its statuses and for each files there are some tasks/items that they can add and manage. We could extend this with rich capabilities such as mentioning a stakeholder for review, exposing file comments to forefront, etc… We could also think of ways to attach external files that are relevant to each file such as spec document, user study document, other connected figma files etc. In a way it could become a design management hub and every stakeholders are aware of the status, context and one source of truth.
