Hello! I am trying the new prototyping tools and they are great but I have run into a problem, and I am not sure if I am doing it wrong, if it’s a bug, or if this functionality simply does not exist.

As you can see in the screenshot I have a main dashboard view and a chart detail view. In the dashboard view, the user can pick the chart format (bar chart, line chart, etc.) I have set everything with variables so, in the prototype, when you click any of the chart formats, the charts change and when navigating to the detail page, the variable is saved and the detail shows the chart format the user was seeing in the dashboard view. Perfect! Love this!

Now, what I am trying to do is that the title of the chart also transfers to the detail view, and it’s been impossible for me to figure out how.

I set modes for the metrics, and set these modes in the chart titles and the detail view title & description.

For the life of me, I can’t figure out how a variable input is saved between screens but not the mode. Is this how it’s supposed to work?
