When I try to apply an interaction in an interactive component, the selection does not apply.
It does not work for an instance inside a component, but works for everything else.

Hi, thank you for raising this issue. I have passed this along to our engineering team, they are aware of and have been working on ways to prevent this behavior in the future.
As a workaround, you can drag the connector to the variant from the instance or another workaround is adding the instance to a “group” and adding the “change to” interaction to the group container should work.
+1 … also getting this with my nested components
