If it says that your file has been deleted, as a first workaround, please check your Trash folder to see if you can restore them: [Delete and restore files]

The good news is that we don’t permanently delete files from Figma unless you manually click “delete forever” or if you delete the team or project that the file was in.

You will be able to restore the file by clicking on Trash and locating the file you want to restore. Right-click on the file and select Restore.

To see all available files that can be restored, please make sure that you also set the “Created by” filter to “anyone” rather than “you.” You, and anyone else who had access to edit that file should be able to find it and restore it this way.

If this still doesn’t help, can you share a quick screenshot of the error message, and share a link of this file here? This will help us to locate the file and see what may have happened. The cart is empty as well. In the conversations, I found direct links, but the files do not open; instead, a notification appears stating that the file has been deleted or hidden.

This looks odd, not sure what’s happening here 🤔 As mentioned, if the workarounds don’t help, can you share the exact error message (a screenshot if you are able to), and share a link of this file here? (you can also find in your browser’s history for example). We will need this in order to try to locate the file.

Thanks for the links of the files! It looks like that your files have been deleted via your Draft folders.

Hey @Nataly_Antonova , I see on the backend that you were able to recover your files by restoring your deleted team.

For others who may encounter a similar issue, please check if your team has been deleted. If so, you should be able to restore it using the link provided in the email you received following the deletion of the team.

You will only see this email if you manually delete a team, but if this has been done by accident, you can restore it by clicking ‘Restore your team here’ in that email. Deleting a team doesn’t affect any files belonging to other teams or files in your drafts.
