I only saw one closed post on this (Combining components with rotation applied into variants cancels the rotation back to 0). I have a component for different icons. I have 4 variant for Up, Down, Left & Right with rotation values of 90, 180 etc. but when I choose a variant the rotation doesn’t work. Is this a bug or is there something I am missing to implement this?
I found a solution for now but I would hope what I tried previously works
I have my icons in a frame. I didn’t rotate the frame, instead rotated the inner vector and left the frame at 0 degrees.

Thank you for sharing the issue. I had the same problem and solved like this way somehow.
Work: After changing all objects to each “component”, click the “combine as variants ” button
Doesn’t work: After changing one object to “component” and ”Add variant “

Same issue here. Logically it should have worked the way you tried it originally.
