Upgraded to professional but can't access older version history

I managed to delete and write over a design file that I now need, but it was too far back in my version history to see it with the free plan, so I upgraded. But for some reason (even though I’ve restarted the program and made sure that the professional plan is active) it still won’t let me click them and it has a note underneath that says it’s only available for paying members.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out.

According to the Help Center article, you should be able to access the version history.

Tip: Users working in their Drafts or in free Starter teams can only access up to 30 days of version history. Upgrade to a paid team to immediately access the full version history of any existing files.

You can view the article here: View a file’s version history.

Could you try logging out and logging back in to see if the issue is resolved? If that doesn’t work, please try clearing the cache.

If the problem persists, please contact the support team directly with a copy of your file: Submit a request. Our support team will look into it.

Please make sure you use the email associated with your Figma account, include links to the file in question, and share access with support-share@figma.com. Don’t worry, inviting us to view your file won’t impact your billing.

Thanks,
Toku
