How can I repair the connection from variables to their library?

Hi everyone,
Variables won’t reconnect to their Library
I had to move a large file system twice in the last few days across different accounts. (Saved them locally and imported them in the new organization)My file system is structured like this: Foundation-> Styleguide (with aliases of the colors)-> multiple files
The colours (and sizes) are created as variables in the Foundation and assigned as aliases in the style guide

The problem:
After the move I added the libraries again to the files but the variables are no longer linked. The libraries are recognised, new links work but everything old is no longer updated (there isn’t even an alert if I made changes in the librarie).

Possible solutions (unsuccessfully tried out):

  1. tried to exchange libraries with the “variables pro” plugin
  2. removed libraries again and added new ones
  3. changed foundation and republished
  4. tried “Repair variables Connection” (it found nothing)
  5. googled for hours in vain

Now I don’t know what to do and the devs want to start with the implementation. Do you have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks you
