@Artrais, thank you for providing that workaround. It helps a lot if needed, but still think adobe should fix this, right? I mean it is an unnecessary hustle for the feature that worked perfectly on earlier version.
There was the same problem, but today it was updated to version 25.4.1 and the bug disappeared. Vector objects are now pasted as svg
Updated my Illustrator and things seem indeed fine now in 25.4.1 and I could copy across to Figma as I used to without any issues.

hmmm weird, my adobe illustrator just updated to 25.4.1 and the text copied still turned into images. Does yours works fine for vector only, or it works fine for text too? thanks!
