How to inject HTML video embed in Figma Sites CMS ?

Are you trying to add a native video file or an HTML video embed in Figma Sites? 

Depending on what you’re trying to achieve, please note that Figma Sites does not support native video uploads (e.g., .mp4 or .mov) as directly playable elements. While you can add a video as an object fill, it will not play in Preview mode. You can, however; add an HTML video embed in Figma Sites by using the Embed block located in the Insert menu.
 

Follow these steps to insert a video into your site:

1. Open the Insert Menu: Click Insert in the left navigation bar.
2. Select Embeds: Navigate to the Blocks tab and select Embeds.
3. Add to Canvas: Drag the relevant embed block onto your webpage or directly onto the canvas.
4. Configure the Source:
   • If your platform (like YouTube or Vimeo) is listed, paste the URL directly into the block settings.
   • If the platform is not listed, select the HTML option and paste your custom embed code.
