Hi,
I am reaching out regarding a research study I participated in that was facilitated through Figma. The study was conducted by Figma, and upon completion I was sent a $150 digital reward via BHN Rewards (Rybbon) on May 29, 2026.
Unfortunately, I have been completely unable to claim my reward due to the following:
1. When I clicked the "Get Reward" button in my reward email, I was redirected to BHN Rewards but immediately blocked with the error: "We detected unusual activity from your device or network" and "Access is temporarily restricted."
2. I contacted BHN Rewards Customer Care directly to investigate. They confirmed the following in their response dated June 1, 2026:
"We checked our system and see that you received a $150.00 Reward on 2026-05-29. We regret to inform you that Nigeria falls under the list of embargoed countries, and therefore, you will not be able to access the reward. As you have not yet claimed your reward, we request that you contact the Reward Sender and ask them to cancel the current reward and provide an alternative option."
3. I have also contacted the Figma research team directly to request cancellation of the current reward and an alternative payout method.
I am a legitimate research participant based in Nigeria who completed the study in good faith. I am simply unable to receive my compensation due to a platform restriction that was not disclosed at the time of recruitment.
Could you please assist in one or more of the following ways:
- Coordinate with Figma to cancel the existing BHN Rewards payout
- Facilitate an alternative reward method accessible from Nigeria, such as Tremendous (PayPal or bank transfer)
- Escalate this to your partnerships or support team if needed
I am happy to provide any additional verification or documentation to support my case.
