Hi Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I wanted to report an issue I’ve been consistently encountering while working in Figma that’s significantly impacting my ability to test and share design prototypes. I believe it may require some technical attention or at least further investigation from the Figma support team.
The issue arises when I attempt to preview any interactive flow within a prototype. Specifically, the moment I click on any prototype element—such as a navigation link, interactive button, or screen transition—the preview environment freezes for several seconds. After this brief pause, the entire preview screen abruptly disappears and is replaced by a blank white screen. It becomes completely unresponsive and unusable at that point.
What’s more concerning is that this behavior doesn’t only affect the prototype preview. Simultaneously, in another browser tab where I have the main Figma editor open (containing the same file), the editor screen also turns completely white. This effectively disrupts my workflow in both the preview and design environment at once. I’ve attempted basic troubleshooting steps such as refreshing the tabs, clearing my browser cache, switching browsers, and even restarting my system, but the issue continues to persist.
This problem has made it increasingly difficult to perform even the most fundamental tasks like reviewing interaction flows, testing user journeys, or sharing progress with stakeholders and collaborators. It’s particularly disruptive during live reviews and collaborative sessions when I need to demonstrate working prototypes or receive timely feedback.
If this is a known issue or if there are any recommended fixes or workarounds, I’d really appreciate any guidance you can provide. If needed, I’m more than happy to share screen recordings, browser and system specs, affected file links, or any other details that might help the technical team troubleshoot more effectively.
Thanks in advance for looking into this. I truly appreciate your time and support on this, and I hope to get back to a smooth and productive experience in Figma soon.
Regards,
Syed
