Zoom doesn't work on touchpad

Sometimes, zoom doesn’t work on the touchpad and I need to use ⌘-/⌘+ to keep working. It happens suddenly, with no pattern. After a couple of minutes, it’s back to normal and I can zoom with my touchpad again.

I’m not able to consistently reproduce it, it’s unpredictable.

The issue is only happening in a desktop app.

p.s. It’s not a touchpad problem, at these moments zoom works in other places except Figma. It’s not only a FigJam issue, it also relates to Figma files.

It’s an old and known bug, there was a thread on the old spectrum forum, there’s even a Reddit thread about it, it seems to affect Sketch as well.

It’s easy to reset so I guess it doesn’t get a lot of attention.
