Unfortunately, I am disappointed with some of the design principles of the Figma API. Manipulating things like color or width of a frame should be dead simple. Instead developers have to jump though a bunch of obtuse steps just to do basic manipulations. Rotation in my mind is one of the biggest examples of this. All I want to write is this
frame.rotation = 10
Instead, I have to follow something like this: figma plugin to rotate selection around the center of itself. · GitHub
Really?? I really hope the Figma team reconsiders this approach as this is just one of the surprisingly many barriers I have found to exist for both seasoned developers and designers wanting to tinker in code.
