There is no doubt that Figma is one of the biggest communities for designers, and the new community section with a handful of templates and files made it even more so
What makes people share their designs with the community, though?
I haven’t shared anything yet but when I would, it’d be because I want to give back to the community just as I have received from them.

I think it’s important to democratize design so that anyone, anywhere, can learn, grow, and succeed as a designer.
Disclaimer: I have sold templates in the past. Now there are so many, I’m trying to give back.
