Why is Figma trying so hard to make us move back to Sketch?

Hi, community (and folks at Figma).
I know Figma is trying to go full unicorn-venture-capital-bullshit mode, but, this is getting out of hand.

Features that were quite straightforward, simple and useful are now gone or moved to a new paid tier within Dev mode. Let’s take “Local styles” as an example. Used to be simple to deal with in view mode. Devs and designers were happy and in love. It’s gone!

Figma was intended to be a tool for designers and now they are trying to charge for “view” seats with Dev mode… seriously?

Don’t get me wrong, I can imagine how frustrating it must have been to lose the deal with Adobe, but, hey, it’s now water under the bridge. You can stop to Adobenize your product, it’s okay, it’s safe out here, we care about you, Figma… but, if you only care about the next venture capital roadshow, we might as well go somewhere else.

Don’t believe me? See it for yourself:

Farewell, Figma
Sketch is doing great to win it back.
