Warn before quitting

This is a small request, but as I understand it, since the Figma Desktop App is built on Chromium, it might be easy to implement.

Essentially, I think it would be a nice option to add an option similar to Chrome’s “Warn before quitting” as there have been many times I’ve accidentally and inevitably tapped ⌘+Q which has ended up quitting Figma without any warning. I’m sure that I’m not alone.

I usually don’t prefer this setting enabled in chrome, but on theDesktop App, where I’m constantly moving fast and using shortcuts, it’s an easy combination of keys to accidentally hit. Hopefully this is something that can be implemented easily and shouldn’t be too disruptive for anyone who doesn’t want this setting enabled.

Hey @Shiv,

Chrome already displays a warning before quitting when using Figma in-browser:

Just be sure this it’s checked in your browser settings:

Hi @dvaliao, thanks for that. That’s the setting I’m referring to, but I would like this option on the Figma Desktop App on macOS. I’ve amended my original post to clarify this.
