Transfer autolayout settings to variants within component?

Hi, so I have a component with nested components that is setup with autolayout. I have made some variants, but the autolayout wasn’t setup properly. After getting the autolayout right through trial and error, I need to get those settings to the variants.

Is there an easy way to do this?

I know this situation but I’m not aware of an easy way to do it.

I would

  1. Recreate all variants based on the original variant

OR

  1. Fix all variants individually by hand

… and make sure that next time everything is set up corretly in the first place.

However, I’m interested how others deal with it.

I appreciate the reply. I ended up recreating because it seemed like it would take less time.

Yeah as new user it’s difficult for me to know if I have everything setup correctly. I know how I want things to look and interact, but I’m not sure how to efficiently get there in figma.
