Love that we now have the ability to see thumbnail previews in the desktop apps! 
I do however find it just a little jarring/loud to my workflow when I know what the contents of the other tabs are. Any chance it might be able to get a preference toggle, with a modifier key to allow the alt choice?

Show page tab thumbnails
Hold alt/option when hovering tab to display the alternative choice would be rather spiffy too.
