Text styles should be more like color styles

  1. Problem: Text styles are awkward to apply to multiple unstyled sections and editing and adding new can be awkward and time consuming.

  2. Treat Text Styles like color swatches. When you select multiple objects you see all the variations, and can apply replace a color swatch.

When you select multiple text fields, you get black from doing anything.

In this screenshot, I want to make these italic and add a new character style. I can’t just select all and break from style. I have to select each individually, break it, apply my change, save the new style and ensure that my layer name is correct.

  1. Anybody else think this update could save a ton of time and add more consistency to designs?
