“Option/Alt” + “.” does not produce anything. This is common shortcut for “…”.
Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.)
Present in adobe xd and likely finds enough use in UI design and other contexts. Far more preferable to individually typing out three dots or pasting it.
Just to add more explanation to this - when a fixed height text box content exceeds the frame, it should auto-append the ‘…’ the same way it works in HTML
I think this might be a different thing? I believe @t8d was asking for common text shortcuts. For example creating bullets, em-dashes, 3 dashes to make a divider line, etc. Figma doesn’t support all of these.
