Smart Animate bug when animating a resizing container with drop shadow with increased blur

I’m trying to animate a container that resizes and where the shadow blur and Y value increases.

Increasing Y alone acts fine, but if I increase Blur, the shadow resize seems to grow behind the container and then move into place. This only happens when container expands. When it collapses, the shadow animation looks fine. It also seems to have issues with the rounded corners. They briefly become less rounded.

Is this a bug? Is there a known workaround (other than not increasing the blur)?

Thank you! :relaxed:

I have a similar/related issue. I have a card with a shadow that increases/decreases in height when an element inside the card is expanded and collapsed. The shadow turns off completely and then returns at the end of the animation.

It seems that any effects applied to shapes can get messed up when using smart animate. I don’t there’s a workaround.
