Hi Community - how do I set elements in auto layout to be responsive without editing the top down to the bottommost layer? Setting the main component as responsive doesn’t work. Should I lessen the amount of auto layout I use for the sake of best practice?

I watched Rogie’s intro to responsive screens a year ago and it helped me learn the concept… but I’ve already built my screens. Having to retroactively set the screens to be responsive seems more tedious and may be more common than I think?
