Redesigned Eyedropper - Cannot create variables in the Redesigned Eyedropper

I cannot Shift + Ctrl + LClick to create a new variable with the target color.

By the way, I love this new redesigned Eyedropper, which allows me to copy the color variables.

Shift+Win+Click somehow works for me on Windows.
Seems like a wrong key bug.
