Recommended dimensions for fullscreen image on mobile?

Hi all! I’m working on a mobile project where I need to include a fullscreen image. I need to provide dimension guidelines to our art department for what crop size they should use for the image.

Mobile screen sizes vary so much. Is there a standard size I should provide for the crop that will work well on most mobile screens?

The recommended size is 2400x1600px

Thank you! What about for a fullscreen mobile aspect ratio? Where the image would be vertically-oriented.
