Scenario
I would like to encourage the use of FigJam among the developers of a company. Since they don’t need design permissions, I gave them the role of editor for FigJam on the team settings.
Later I created a project dedicated to them where you can create FigJam files. However they are not allowed to create new files and I had to give them edit permissions to the project.
The problem
By giving them edit permissions to the project, they are now able to create design files too, so the company will automatically have to pay additional licenses in case they create them by mistake.
Possible solutions:
- Give editor permissions to the single project for Design role, FigJam role or both
- Bind the editor permissions to the permissions assigned on the team settings
