Hi, I think the hotkey for “Paste over selection” is not working, I know It’s recently changed to “Cmd+Opt+Shift+V” right? Does anyone else experience this?
Same here. I was heavily relying on “Paste over selection” feature and now it’s frustrating with the new hotkey (and even the one isn’t working).
Oh i just made the same report…
It work with the menu on right clic Paste here but it’s not so fast
The same story. I do not understand why they changed the shortcut to new which is very difficult to do with one hand + it’s destroying the previous user experience. In browser still working the old one.
God this is annoying. Please give us old shortcut back
Agree with it. This shortcut requires too many fingers -_-
This is so annoying, now I need two hands to copy paste normally! Please return this to how it was!

Why it became Ctrl+Shift+ALT+V
Hey, everyone! Thank you so much for your feedback on this.
We have updated some of the shortcuts:
- ⌘⇧V or Shift+Ctrl+V should now Paste And Match Style as it did before
- ⌘⇧V or Shift+Ctrl+V should now Paste Over Selection as it did before
- the new feature Paste To Replace is now under ⌘⌥⇧V or Shift+Ctrl+Alt+V
- we’ve also simplified Distribute Horizontal Spacing to Alt+Shift+H and Distribute Vertical Spacing to Alt+Shift+V (on Windows – no change on Macs)
Please let me know if you have any more feedback or suggestions!
