Because of data protection purposes, my team can’t have our Figma prototypes publicly available. The new password functionality could fix this but its prone to error. We would need a setting to make this the default setting for everyone outside the company.

We have similar concerns with file sharing. We have many people across our organization who need access to a specific file, but managing the access and invites becomes tedious when we have to manage invites for everyone who needs access across every file.
We could invite users to the Team as Viewers, but that’s more access than they may need.
We could create and share a link in a feature description, giving direct and already gated access to a design file, but that doesn’t keep it internal or lock down access on confidential products.
