Not sure why my variant tab isn't showing up

I am not sure why i want to create variants for my components but can’t find the variant tab to the right. any idea why? thank you

Same for me. Seems you have to use the button in the top center of the UI, or the little icon that appears on the canva (happens 1/10 times, seems buggy)

If i am correct did you first create the components

Once I create components this, variant shows up

right-click on the component and then under Main Component > Variant. It took me forever to find this.
