I would like the function Mark as done and In progress on page level and on sketch level so that I can communicate to my coders and product owners where I stand in my work. It would also be nice to send a teams message when I change this status along with other details like what errand it is and so on.

Hey Mia, until/unless Figma releases an update that includes such functionality, I wanted to recommend following @Ridd’s best practice of using components made specifically for annotating files to communicate status. This could be in addition to using emojis in Page names (
and 
seem to be popular) if you use Pages to compartmentalize your work in a file.
