macOs 10.12 updates for Figma

Hello,
I’m Kristina, please help me to understand how I can use the Figma Desctop if I couldn’t update my macOs to 10.12 ?
It’s a bit taught because I don’t wanna work from any browser

I’m not entirely sure there is, but I’m sure @Gleb can better answer this question.

As far as I know, you have to have downloaded the most recent update to use the figma app. Otherwise, I would reccommend using the web version. Same features, little difficulty.

So you are on 10.11? Have you tried? That’s the easiest way to tell if that would work. If it doesn’t work it doesn’t work.

yea I’m on 10.11. and it’s doesn’t work (((

That system is probably too old. :frowning: In this case I guess you are limited to working from the browser.

:sob: :sob:
and it’s impossible in the near future to have some old version of Figma? I mean if I didn’t update Figma it will not happen to me

I have no way of knowing that but I would assume there is not.

You can’t not update Figma, it will update itself on startup.

You could consider using Sierra Patcher Tool to update to 10.12:

It’s kinda hacky, so only try it if you’re using Time Machine to backup your Mac.

Thank you for help and advice )

Do you remember the version number of Figma that was last used for you?
