Line height ignored, causing big pain!

I am having issues with line height being ignored. Two examples:

  1. I have a checkbox component I made in the global design system. This has a rectangle plus text. I drag and drop the checkbox into a frame and it ignores the line height set in the text. It messes up the design really badly.
  2. I have a text layer. Its color is set in the instance, other properties in the global design system. I copy-paste it, edit it, the line height disappears and everything shifts up!
