Like many designers, I’m a big fan of keyboard shortcuts. I also like to work very zoomed into my designs. On countless occasions, I have been trying to toggle the rectangle tool (r) or the general move tool (v) while actually typing in a text field outside of my field of vision. I end up with missing content and just a bunch of vvvvvv or rrrr. Worst case, I’m about to send it to the client and haven’t realized my mistake.
A simple fix to help this would be to have the window jump to where the text is appearing. I’ll immediately know I’m typing in the wrong place and can quickly hit undo. It would save me a lot of headache.
