Instances not behaving as expected compared to master components

Hi everyone. I have an issue with building responsive master components and making them behaving right when dragged into artboard.
Basically instances do not behave as the master component does.

I have attached a video and I provided a link to a figma file.

As you can see, the list components that uses the main component and its variants, should be responsive when the blue variant is chosen. And it works well.

But in the instance, selecting the blue variant ends up in unexpected result and not responsive layout.

any idea about what am I doing wrong?

Hi @Daniele_Q, I changed the Blue variant by setting “Hug contents” vertically. This should work now.

Wow, god knows how much I tried with that hug parameter…
Seems to work fine now! Thanx a lot!
