[IDEA] Option to turn off CMD+drag selection to select the parent frame (artboard frame)

I think about a year and a half ago this wasn’t a thing. Now whenever I try to select multiple sub layers with cmd+selection I end up selecting the parent frame. To select multiple components what I do is

  1. start dragging selection starting from outside of the frame
  2. Hover on to the stuff that I’m drawing
  3. (still didn’t let go of click) press cmd to select sub layers
  4. and then release the click.

Cmd selection should not consider the parent frame (in other words ‘artboard’) as a selection. Right clicking already selects the frame and everything in it.
