How to insert unmapped glyphs in Figma?

Hi guys,
I have a font that has some unmapped glyphs in it like arrows, squares and so on. I can view and inspect all these glyphs in the FontExplorer X Pro app and I can even copy them and use them in writing apps like Text Edit or Pages. However when I insert them in Figma, I only get the Missing-Glyph-Questionmark-Diamond “�” thing. Even if I explicitly set the right font, the characters won’t show.

Unfortunately all the glyph browser plugins also don’t help, as these specific glyphs in this font are unmapped.

Is there any way to work with these unmapped glyphs?
