When following a person viewing my prototype, I would like to see any overlays they are interacting with. Overlays are not seen from my end when following, so it just looks like a mouse floating around the frame underneath.

I’ve run a few tests on my side but so far, I haven’t been able to reproduce the behavior you described with overlays when using the spotlight in presentation view.
I have a couple follow-up questions:
Does this issue occur in the desktop app, in the browser, or both?
Are any other collaborators experiencing the same issue?

When you contact our support team, please include the following information:
- Make sure to use your Figma account Email.
- Please add support-share@figma.com as an Editor to the affected file (this won’t affect your billing at all) and send those direct link
- Please point out the frame experiencing this issue. (You can share a specific frame by right clicking on the frame in question, Copy link to selection)
- Capturing a quick video of your experience would be very helpful.

It happens when doing the simple “click to follow” visitors who are interacting with my prototype and also while spotlighting myself for a presentation. It occurs both in the desktop and browser, and with other members of my team with different files.
It seems to work for tiny prototypes, but I don’t know when or why it breaks. I need to be able to follow users through menu and modal systems that use overlays.
